Development Launch Night
We held a very successful Development Launch last night on Tuesday 10th of May last.
It was a great occasion and a historic moment for the club. The new development will see the construction of a 3G artificial grass pitch and ball alley over the coming months.
Club chairman Kevin Kelleher spoke on the night on the fantastic work already being done in our club and how we always look to improve both on and off the field. The new facilities will be of huge benefit to all club members and future generations of Blarney players to come.
Cork County Board Development Officer Richard Murphy spoke how Blarney GAA are playing a vital role in the community and the improvement of facilities is required with a growing population in our village on the outskirts of Cork city. He congratulated our club on our vision and wished us all the best with the venture.
We had public representatives, Cork County Board officers and board members, Muskerry officers, members of the Rebel OG East & Central boards, friends from neighbouring clubs and teachers from our local schools present on the night.
We also had club members, parents, supporters and many from our local community in Blarney.
Thanks again to all for making the night such a success.
