Parish League Finals draw Big crowds. 2018-06-03 19:37:00

Saturday morning saw Blarney / Ráthpeacon, Club na nÓg once again host our annual Football Parish League Finals.   The venue was Blarney GAA's main pitch and the weather was beautiful.   There was a great buzz around the club all week with this event taking centre stage and you could feel the excitement all morning in the build up to throw-in.

Well done to all the players and coaches and to all the parents, friends and spectators for helping in creating such a positive atmosphere.   A big thanks to everyone that helped out aswell.   It was a great team effort by all.

A huge Thanks to our sponsors for the parish leagues including Tim Crowley in the corner shop for providing all the drinks and sweets for the children, Paul Fitzgerald Heating and Plumbing for sponsoring all the medals.

Many thanks to Nóra McSweeney for presenting the Peter McSweeney cup to Liam Cummins capt and winning team Connaught. Thanks also to the Ahern Family, Dan, Jacinta and their son Peter Ahern for presenting the winning plaque to Bobby Fitzgerald capt of the U7/8's Dublin winning team.   See for more pics.

Looking Forward to the hurling Parish Leagues already!!!
