U11 match roundup and Trip to West Cork 2018-09-25 23:25:00

The U11s have had a busy few weeks on the playing field starting with a trip to Youghal. Football was the order of the day in East Cork and the boys acquitted themselves really well.   In one of the matches the boys were narrowly beaten by a good Youghal team and while putting in a great effort in the second match they were well beaten aided by one extremely good player in the Youghal ranks.

Next up was hurling away to Kinsale where both teams put up super performances but lost both games narrowly despite us being missing a number of players for these games.   The coaches couldn't be happier with the attitude and endeavour shown here and the way in which every boy made such a positive contribution to the team.

Finally it was football at home to Cobh were Blarney put a lot of the training ground efforts into practice during the games and came out on top in both games with fantastic performances.   There is a great attitude among this bunch of players and it was particularly pleasing to see the fruits of hard work in training coming to the fore in their performance.

In a break from on field activities 23 U11s and the coaches headed to West Cork Secret last weekend for a Fun Team building day out.   It was a massive success and all the boys and coaches had great time.   As has been consistently said before there is a great camaraderie among this group which serves them well on and off the field and it was great to see such laughter and fun on the trip as is evident in the pics in the attached link.

Well done Boys.  Click https://bit.ly/2OiZpLf for loads of great pics.
