Where Membership Monies Go
To highlight the importance of monies received from club membership and to outline some associated outlays for the club, the club has recently paid the following invoices.
Public liability Insurance & Cork GAA Affiliation Fees - €3,877
GAA Injury Benefit Fund - €5,040
Payment of the Public Liability & affiliations fees and the GAA Injury Benefit Fund subscription is compulsory for the club.
The remaining proceeds from 2017 membership registration fees will assist towards the total cost of Rebel Og affiliation fees, playing equipment, maintenance of facilities, utility bills and team preparation.
About GAA Injury Benefit Fund
The Injury Fund is a benefit cover funded entirely from Club and Central Council contributions.
The Fund provides cover for registered member participating in an Official Fixture or Official supervised training session as part of a team registered with the fund.
The Injury Fund does not seek to fully compensate but to supplement other covers such as Private Health Insurance.
