Fé 14 Football Tournament
Mallow GAA hosted the Sherry Fitzgerald Annual U14 Football Tournament on Sunday 1st October, and it was a delightful experience for all involved. The skills displayed by the young athletes on the field were nothing short of impressive and a true testament to their dedication and hard work.
The tournament was impeccably organised, with Mallow GAA showcasing their expertise in event management. From the moment teams arrived, they were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Mallow’s commitment to this tournament was evident by providing delicious food and refreshments ensuring that everyone was well taken care of throughout the day.
The pitches at the Mallow GAA complex were in pristine condition, providing the perfect stage for the young footballers of the 20 teams invited to exhibit their talents. The access to the complex’s facilities was a welcome addition giving the lads during breaks ample time to play and have fun as groups on the astro pitches thus enhancing the overall experience for both players and spectators.
Blarney GAA were delighted to progress to the final against a strong Kinsale. Blarney’s victory was undoubtedly a result of never giving up piping Kinsale in the final minutes with 2 well taken goals, and they were thrilled to have been invited to such a wonderfully run competition.
